Vitalize is an AI operating system for healthcare labor and capacity management, trusted by leading health systems nationwide. The company has raised $32M+ from top healthcare and technology investors.
You will be Vitalize's first Enterprise Solutions hire, defining and building this critical function as the customer base and post-sales organization scale. You'll serve as the technical subject matter expert across the entire customer lifecycle—from pre-sales solutioning through deployment and post-launch support.
Key responsibilities:
- Own technical solutioning across the customer lifecycle, bridging Growth and Post-Sales to ensure what is sold can be successfully deployed and supported. Carry critical technical context from pre-signature discovery through implementation and post-launch.
- Lead technical discovery and deep dives with hospital IT leadership on complex enterprise deals. Partner with Growth to understand architecture, integration requirements, limitations, dependencies, and customer responsibilities before commitments are made. Solution net-new integrations and technical workflows as customer needs evolve.
- Build technical leverage across Vitalize by equipping Growth, Deployments, Support, and Customer Success with knowledge, documentation, training, and tools to independently handle increasingly complex technical workflows and customer conversations.
- Partner with Deployments to establish standards for technical discovery, integration setup, configuration, testing, and validation. Step into complex deployments where needed while enabling Deployment Strategists to independently own increasingly sophisticated technical workstreams.
- Develop deep expertise across Vitalize's product and architecture, as well as WFM, HRIS, payroll, EHR, and other integrated systems. Maintain clear understanding of what can be supported, how, and where limitations exist.
- Translate recurring technical requirements and blockers from the pipeline and customer base into product signal. Partner with Product and Engineering to determine whether the answer is better enablement, a new integration, or a scalable platform capability.
Success is measured by fewer deployments delayed by technical readiness, tighter alignment between what Growth sells and what Post-Sales can deliver, and a team that becomes increasingly technically self-sufficient through repeatable playbooks and tools.
Travel: 40–50% onsite with customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Deep experience with complex enterprise systems: ERP, WFM, HRIS, payroll, or adjacent enterprise platforms. Strong understanding of APIs, data flows, integration architecture, middleware, SSO, and the complexity of connecting mission-critical systems.
- Proven ability to lead technical solutioning with enterprise customers. Experience turning ambiguous requirements into solutions across complex customer environments. Comfortable leading CIO organizations, enterprise architects, integration teams, security teams, and HRIS leaders from pre-sales through implementation and escalation.
- Instinct to turn difficult solutions into repeatable capabilities that others can own.
- Ability to distinguish implementation issues, configuration problems, integration limitations, and true product gaps. Know when Engineering is needed and when it isn't.
- Proven ability to bridge GTM and Post-Sales. Can advance complex enterprise deals without creating promises the delivery team cannot keep. Create clarity around what's possible, what's required, and what must be true for successful deployment.
- Strong partnership skills with Product and Engineering. Translate messy customer requirements into clear technical problems, identify patterns across customers, and distinguish one-off complexity from capabilities worth building into the platform.
- Health system experience is a major plus: experience with health system IT environments, clinical systems, workforce operations, EHRs, or healthcare interoperability.
- Ability and willingness to travel 40–50% of the time onsite with customers.
