Salary: USD 110,000 - 120,000 / annual
Datadog is seeking an Enterprise Sales Executive to target and close new business with the company's largest, most strategic customers and prospects. You'll focus on uncovering pain points organizations face as they operate in or migrate to cloud environments at scale, then deliver appropriate Datadog solutions.
Key responsibilities include prospecting into Fortune 1000 companies while running an efficient sales process, maintaining and owning relationship maps for your territory, developing deep comprehension of customer business needs, and negotiating favorable pricing and terms by selling value and ROI. You'll handle existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into your assigned territory, demonstrate resourcefulness when facing complex challenges, and maintain high forecasting accuracy.
You bring 3+ years of closing experience with a mix of field selling in mid-market or enterprise environments. You've met or exceeded direct sales goals of $1M+ with average deal sizes of $100k+. You have demonstrated methodology to prospect and build pipeline independently, experience working for innovative tech companies (SaaS, IT infrastructure preferred), and proven success selling into Fortune 1000 companies to win new logos. You're comfortable traveling up to 70% of the time via auto, train, or air, and can sit for extended periods during client site visits.
