Sierra is building an AI platform that enables enterprises to deliver better, more human customer experiences. The company partners with industry leaders including SoftBank, Uber, Rivian, CLEAR, and Sutter Health. Founded by Bret Taylor (former Salesforce co-CEO, Facebook CTO, Google Maps co-creator) and Clay Bavor (18-year Google veteran who led Google Labs, AR/VR, and Google Workspace), Sierra is headquartered in San Francisco with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
As Enterprise Sales Director based in South Korea, you will lead the sales function for the region, responsible for prospecting, relationship management, and closing complex enterprise deals. Your core responsibilities include identifying and targeting potential enterprise customers through research and networking, building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers at major accounts, negotiating and closing large deals, and developing regional sales strategies to meet revenue targets. You'll craft tailored presentations and proposals, collaborate with marketing on sales campaigns, and work cross-functionally with product, technical, and operations teams. This is an early-stage role where you'll directly shape how the GTM function operates and scales.
You bring 10+ years of enterprise sales experience with a proven track record managing $1M+ quotas and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals. You have exceptional communication skills, an analytical mindset for market trends and data-driven decisions, and demonstrated prospecting and lead generation expertise. Fluency in both English and Japanese (written and verbal) is required. Ideally, you have familiarity with the AI landscape, experience building GTM strategies from scratch, or a background scaling sales teams in early-stage growth environments.
Sierra values Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and Family. The company offers competitive benefits including unlimited PTO, comprehensive health coverage, retirement plans, parental leave, fertility benefits, and equity participation for full-time employees.
