Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, a platform enabling organizations in physical operations—agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing—to harness IoT data for actionable insights and operational improvement. The company helps digitize industries representing over 40% of global GDP, offering solutions in video-based safety, vehicle telematics, driver workflows, and equipment monitoring. As an Enterprise Sales Engineer, you will split time between two major focus areas: (1) supporting senior-level sellers in growing existing customers and winning new business, and (2) serving as a senior resource for the broader SE team. You will be highly accountable for each technical sale, requiring strong storytelling, objection handling, custom workarounds, advanced integrations, and hands-on expertise. You'll share learnings across the SE team via meetings and internal channels. Additionally, you will source and deliver product information, conduct alpha product/feature testing, manage projects, and build process improvements and automation to scale the SE team. You will carry a quota and must balance these senior responsibilities with strong time management to meet revenue targets. Key responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations and live proof-of-concept trials for prospects, working closely with Product Management, demonstrating value propositions on-site and remotely, responding to RFIs/RFPs, eliminating sales obstacles creatively, and remaining highly available to sales and cross-functional teams. You will be a dynamic contributor to internal communications and champion Samsara's cultural principles as the company scales. This remote position is open to candidates in the TOLA region (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas) excluding SF Bay Area, NYC Metro, and DC Metro. The role requires up to 50% travel, and proximity to an international airport is preferred.
