Watershed is an enterprise sustainability platform used by companies like Airbnb, Carlyle Group, FedEx, Visa, and Dr. Martens to manage climate and ESG data, produce audit-ready metrics for regulatory reporting (including CSRD), and drive real decarbonization. You will join Watershed's first account management team in Europe as one of two account managers based in London, responsible for retaining and growing the customer base across northern Europe. This is a founding role at an inflection point—large companies across the region are launching and scaling sustainability programmes as regulatory and investor pressure intensifies. Key responsibilities: - Own and grow a book of enterprise customers (10,000+ employees), working with key stakeholders to educate them on effective sustainability programmes and drive continuous improvement and business value. You'll manage the full commercial relationship from onboarding through renewal and expansion. - Build the renewal and expansion playbook for northern Europe, including positioning new products, developing risk mitigation strategies, and strengthening stakeholder connections. - Shape Watershed's product, packaging, and go-to-market strategy by sharing front-line customer feedback. - Become an expert in sustainability, regulatory reporting (CSRD), carbon reduction targets, clean energy, carbon removal, and supply chain decarbonization. - Help build the account management team in Europe. The role includes up to 20% travel across northern Europe. You must be willing to work from the London office 4 days per week. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of sales or account management excellence, particularly with enterprise customers (10,000+ employees) at an executive level. - 3+ years of demonstrated success selling, renewing, and expanding enterprise SaaS at €100K–500K deal sizes. - Experience managing enterprise accounts across northern Europe with deep knowledge of regional buying decisions, procurement, and stakeholder dynamics. - Proven ability to lead from zero to one and build new playbooks from scratch. - Excellent consultative selling skills with ability to listen deeply and solve customer problems. - Track record of success in complex or technical domains; voracious curiosity and willingness to become a subject-matter expert. - Relentless resourcefulness and ability to accomplish things others thought impossible. - Startup mindset: willing to take responsibility for company outcomes and move fast.
