As Sales Manager for Energy & Commodities in North America, you will lead regional commercial expansion and drive revenue growth across one of Kpler's most strategic markets. You will manage a dedicated sales team, balancing new customer acquisition with strategic account expansion while delivering SaaS/DaaS solutions to commodity market leaders. Key responsibilities include: - Formulating and executing regional sales strategies that adapt to market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes - Managing, coaching, and empowering a high-performing sales team to drive individual growth and collective performance - Overseeing revenue forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and sales processes to maximize team productivity - Maintaining a healthy portfolio balance between new account acquisition and existing client expansion - Leveraging commercial data and KPIs to evaluate regional performance and inform strategy - Partnering cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure client feedback shapes the global product roadmap - Collaborating with global commercial leaders to align regional execution with business objectives The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and bring an adaptive, hands-on leadership approach. REQUIREMENTS: Must-haves: - Progressive B2B sales experience in SaaS or DaaS, specifically within Energy, Commodities, Maritime, or Financial Services - Demonstrated leadership experience managing, coaching, and scaling direct-report sales teams to achieve ambitious growth targets - In-depth knowledge of modern B2B sales techniques, multi-stakeholder deal execution, and structured pipeline management - Strong analytical capabilities with a track record of translating commercial metrics into actionable sales strategies - Adaptive, hands-on leadership style with ability to thrive in fast-paced, multicultural environments Nice-to-haves: - Familiarity with enterprise CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics platforms - Existing network of decision-makers and key players within the North American energy and commodity ecosystem
