As an Enterprise Account Executive based in London, you will drive sales of Writer's end-to-end AI platform to large enterprises (3K–8K FTE, with focus on Fortune 1000 companies). Your primary responsibility is converting active trial participants and inbound demo requests into closed deals. While most pipeline comes inbound, you'll also generate outbound pipeline from ideal customer profile accounts.
Key responsibilities include: developing deep product expertise and understanding customer use cases across industries; qualifying inbound leads and guiding them through evaluation; setting clear trial success criteria and pulling in stakeholders early; building business cases to secure executive sponsorship; navigating legal, security, and procurement processes (often an evangelical sale with no existing budget line); and collecting product insights to inform go-to-market strategy.
You'll report to the Regional VP and work collaboratively with product, customer success, and cross-functional teams. The role requires strong written and verbal communication, consultative selling skills, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining detailed organization and follow-through.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years closing enterprise B2B SaaS deals at companies with 6K+ employees, a track record of exceeding quota, experience building business cases for executive buy-in, and familiarity with value-based selling. Experience navigating legal, security, and procurement workflows is essential. A background in editorial, marketing, or communications is a plus.
