Anysphere, maker of Cursor (an AI-native code editor), is building out enterprise sales in India. As a Strategic Account Executive, you'll own a named book of strategic enterprise accounts across India and APJ, driving new logo acquisition and expansion revenue from large engineering organizations, financial services firms, and digital-native enterprises.
You'll run full-cycle sales from prospecting and discovery through evaluation, negotiation, and close. Key responsibilities include building and executing account strategies that connect Cursor's capabilities to the technical and business priorities of engineering leaders, CTOs, and developer platform teams; creating pipeline through outbound prospecting, executive mapping, inbound follow-up, and partner referrals; partnering with Sales Engineering, Product, and Customer Success on evaluations and customer success; navigating complex enterprise buying processes including security reviews, legal negotiations, and multi-stakeholder approvals; and serving as the voice of India's enterprise customers internally, sharing market feedback and deal learnings with leadership.
You'll help establish Cursor's enterprise presence in India by building repeatable motions, local market insights, and early customer references. You'll consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience, ideally selling developer tools, infrastructure, cloud, security, AI, or technical SaaS to engineering-led organizations. You should have experience selling into strategic or large enterprise accounts in India, comfort navigating complex buying committees, strong pipeline management and forecasting skills, and the ability to hold credible conversations with senior engineers and CTOs. You're a self-starter who thrives in early-stage, resource-constrained environments and can build process and playbooks as you go. You care deeply about AI and believe transforming how software is written is one of the most important problems.
