Abacum is a Business Planning platform for finance teams, founded in 2020 by two former CFOs and backed by $100M+ in funding (including a $60M Series B in June 2025). The company serves enterprise customers like Dish Networks, Strava, and BetterUp, helping finance teams automate reporting, enable collaboration, and shift from number-crunching to strategic decision-making.
You will own a named territory of enterprise and upper mid-market accounts across EMEA, responsible for the full sales cycle from first meeting to signed contract. Your accounts are often running legacy planning tools or spreadsheets that cannot keep pace with business needs. You will build and run your own pipeline through targeted outbound, events, and partner co-selling with ERP vendors and implementation partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the full sales cycle for a named book of enterprise accounts
- Building and running your own pipeline through targeted outbound, events, and partner co-selling
- Selling to CFOs, VPs of Finance, and Heads of FP&A, bringing IT, procurement, security, and legal stakeholders along
- Running complex evaluations including discovery, business cases, proofs of concept, and competitive displacements
- Forecasting with discipline and maintaining a clean CRM pipeline
- Working with Solutions Engineering, Product, and Leadership to shape deals and feed market feedback into the roadmap
Abacum's product differentiators include AI that runs on a governed financial model (trusted by CFOs and IT teams), faster time-to-value than legacy EPM (700+ integrations, weeks not months), and deep channel partnerships (NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Network, Sage Intacct Marketplace, Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner). The company is actively building its enterprise motion with room to shape the playbook.
Compensation includes competitive base, uncapped commission, and equity. Remote in EMEA with hubs in New York, Toronto, and Barcelona. Benefits include vacation policy, medical insurance, L&D budget, Meditopia access, and language courses.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales, with at least 3 years closing enterprise deals
- Experience selling EPM, FP&A, planning, or other Office-of-the-CFO software (finance, ERP, spend, or data platforms)
- Track record of closing six-figure ARR deals with 3–6 month cycles and hitting or beating quota
- Comfort leading multi-stakeholder deals with finance, IT, procurement, and security at the table
- Experience displacing an incumbent (legacy system or spreadsheet-based process)
- Consultative, value-based approach; ability to build business cases in a CFO's language
- Drive to build your own pipeline, not wait for inbound
- Clear, sharp written and verbal communication, including running demos with senior buyers
- Based in EMEA, with ability to travel to customers and events
BONUS:
- Experience selling with or through ERP ecosystems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics) or implementation partners
- Finance background or comfort discussing models, drivers, and variances with FP&A teams
- Structured sales methodology (MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or similar)
- Early-stage seller experience at a scaling company who helped build enterprise playbook
