Pinecone is hiring an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth into Fortune 500 and Global 2000 customers. You will report directly to the Head of Global Sales and own a territory with quota responsibility for large enterprise accounts, prospecting and closing new logos while expanding existing relationships.
Key responsibilities include: owning and managing a territory of enterprise prospects; managing inbound leads from BDRs, product-led growth, and marketing-qualified channels; leading all sales activities through Pinecone's defined buying journey; competing effectively against rivals; ensuring successful customer deployment and positioning for expansion; and collaborating cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Marketing teams.
Successful candidates bring deep technical knowledge and comfort selling to developers and engineering leaders. You'll thrive in a startup environment, handle ambiguity well, and be excited about building infrastructure that will reshape the industry.
Required qualifications: 5–7+ years as an Enterprise Account Executive with direct F500/G2000 new-logo closing experience; consistent track record of exceeding quota and outperforming peers; experience in infrastructure, data software, or generative AI space preferred; proven ability to sell to developers and engineering leaders; startup or early-stage experience preferred.
