Okta is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business acquisition and expansion within the Sydney territory. You will work directly with C-suite decision-makers to demonstrate how Okta's identity platform enables secure, seamless access across their workforce.
In this role, you will define and execute a clear territory plan with long-term strategic goals and growth targets. You'll lead a cross-functional virtual team including Partners, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, Renewals, Services, and Business Development to drive consistent pipeline generation and revenue growth, meeting or exceeding quarterly targets.
Key responsibilities include building strong, strategic relationships with customers to earn trusted advisor status, championing Okta's value through executive-level presentations and tailored demonstrations, and establishing yourself as a thought leader in identity, security, and cloud transformation. You will represent Okta's core values—Love Our Customers, Always Secure, Always On, Build and Own It, and Drive What's Next—while traveling as needed to engage customers and key stakeholders.
You bring 10+ years of field sales experience consistently exceeding targets in complex sales environments, with a proven track record of selling enterprise SaaS solutions to large organizations. You have experience working with GSIs and partner channels, strong new business development skills, and deep account planning and execution capabilities. You possess excellent executive presence and communication skills capable of influencing senior stakeholders, familiarity with solution selling frameworks like MEDDPICC, and a curious, adaptable mindset with passion for learning and innovation. A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience is required, and you must be Sydney-based.
