As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will sell to engineering leaders and C-suite executives at large, complex organizations where incident management directly impacts business continuity and board-level outcomes. Your accounts will include companies like Intercom, Etsy, Miro, HashiCorp, and StubHub—customers who validate strong product-market fit. You'll manage enterprise sales cycles involving 6-7 decision-makers, technical buyers, and executive stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include: - Hunting and prospecting into target accounts with multiple entry points - Running product demonstrations alongside Solutions Engineers - Building multi-threaded relationships across technical and executive buyers - Conducting C-level conversations with credibility and strategic insight - Gathering customer feedback and translating it to the product team for rapid iteration - Collaborating with leadership on sales process development and continuous improvement - Leveraging AI tools (Claude) for account research, deal preparation, and competitive positioning - Working cross-functionally with Product, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success teams The sales function is central to incident.io's strategy, not peripheral. You'll help shape how the company sells rather than execute a pre-built playbook. The team values product evangelism, strategic partnership, and the ability to challenge existing approaches. REQUIREMENTS: - Proven track record closing 6-figure ACV (Annual Contract Value) deals; ability to articulate the specific strategies and tactics used - Demonstrated experience selling to technical buyers, CTOs, and engineering leaders - Comfort and credibility in rooms with engineers and technical stakeholders - Active prospecting and pipeline-building skills; multiple account entry strategies - Strong multi-threading ability to identify and engage all key decision-makers - Data-driven approach to deal progression; ability to build compelling business cases - Product acumen and willingness to provide constructive feedback to product teams - Comfort with startup ambiguity and ability to help build sales processes from the ground up - Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to leverage team resources to win deals
