Greenboard is building an AI-native compliance operating system for financial institutions including RIAs, fintechs, private funds, and hedge funds. The platform replaces fragmented legacy tools and automates compliance workflows, helping firms reduce regulatory risk and modernize operations. Founded by engineers from Amazon, Google, and unicorn startups, Greenboard is backed by Y Combinator, General Catalyst, and Base10, with over $20M raised and strong product-market fit.
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle from initial outbound prospecting through contract signature for mid-market and enterprise accounts. These are complex deals involving multiple stakeholders—compliance, legal, finance, and operations—each with different priorities and evaluation criteria. You'll manage both inbound leads and self-generated cold outreach, handling discovery, multi-threading across buyer committees, and navigating procurement and security reviews at regulated firms.
You will build and sustain your own pipeline through cold calling, cold email, social outreach, and partnership channels. Your work will directly inform product strategy, messaging refinement, and target segment prioritization. You'll report to a new revenue leader scaling the sales motion and will have visibility into market signals that shape the company's direction.
The role requires accountability for pipeline, forecast accuracy, and quota attainment. You'll work closely with product and leadership to unblock deals during diligence and vendor onboarding phases. Success depends on strong judgment in deal strategy, prioritization, and negotiation, combined with the ability to build trust quickly with executive-level buyers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4 to 8 years of quota-carrying experience closing $50k–$500k ACV B2B SaaS deals
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain your own pipeline through cold prospecting (list building, cold calls, cold email, social) rather than relying solely on inbound or SDR support
- Experience running complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes from discovery through procurement and close
- Accurate forecasting, strong CRM discipline, and data-driven decision-making
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Based in NYC or willing to relocate to the New York office
NICE TO HAVE:
- Sales experience in financial services (RIAs, broker-dealers, private funds)
- Experience selling products that replace multiple incumbent vendors
- Early-stage startup experience where sales playbooks did not yet exist
