Grafana Labs, the company behind the open observability cloud, is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive, Acquisition based in Switzerland to drive new business growth across Switzerland and Austria. You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through closing—for enterprise customers. Your role combines consultative selling with technical acumen: you'll learn customer needs first, articulate the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise, guide customers through trials and proofs of concept, and hand off strong relationships to the Growth team.
Key responsibilities include meeting quarterly and annual sales targets, executing outbound prospecting into net-new accounts, managing all stages of the sales process (discovery, demos, POCs, proposals, negotiations), cultivating both inbound and outbound opportunities, becoming expert in Salesforce pipeline management, and handling quote creation and order processing. You'll need to understand and communicate the value of both Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise solutions.
You bring 5+ years of enterprise infrastructure technology sales experience in Switzerland, a track record as a top 10% performer in competitive environments, and strong communication skills across in-person, virtual, and written channels. Fluency in English and German (both written and spoken) is required. Technical background and prior experience selling technical products are highly valued. Bonus qualifications include French language skills, familiarity with open source technology, Salesforce expertise, and knowledge of sales methodologies like Command of the Message and MEDDPICC.
Grafana Labs is a 100% remote company with 1,600+ team members across 40+ countries, backed by leading investors including Lightspeed, Sequoia, and GIC. The company serves 7,000+ customers including Anthropic, Bloomberg, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Salesforce. All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) for ownership alignment.
