You will join the Connect team, reporting to a Senior Engineering Manager, working on Mirakl Connect—an AI-powered hub that simplifies sellers' daily operations. The team is distributed between Bordeaux and Paris, with one day of remote work per week.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive technical excellence by owning user stories, conducting code reviews, and contributing to design, development, testing, and production deployments
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery by developing roadmaps with R&D, aligning priorities with tech leads, and partnering with product and design teams
- Develop talent and best practices through successful onboarding, talent identification, recruitment contribution, and establishing clean code and testing standards
- Remove blockers and enable team success by resolving technical challenges and making arbitration decisions
- Manage and mentor 4-5 developers, conducting one-on-ones, performance reviews, and fostering team cohesion across distributed locations
- Participate in AI adoption both within products and internal practices
Required experience: At least 5 years of Java development with recent versions, minimum 2 years in a team lead or similar management role mentoring developers, proven ability to balance hands-on technical contribution with people management, track record delivering complex projects in microservices environments, and professional English proficiency.
Tech stack includes Java (recent versions), Spring Framework, SQL, cloud platforms, and microservices architecture. The role emphasizes teamwork, action-oriented delivery, continuous learning, and client empowerment.
