Savvy is a Series B fintech company reinventing wealth management for independent financial advisors. The $545B wealth management industry still relies heavily on manual work—75% of advisors offer no digital communication beyond email, and most build financial plans in Excel. Savvy provides a modern, AI-native platform that lets independent advisors grow without running back-office operations themselves. Advisors bring their client book to Savvy, operate under their own or Savvy's brand, and Savvy earns a percentage of assets managed. In return, advisors get a proprietary tech platform, client portal, in-house marketing support, investment management, and dedicated client services. Advisors at Savvy service up to 50% more households and save 19 hours weekly.
The company is backed by $105M from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, Canvas Ventures, and Mark Casady (former CEO of LPL Financial). With ~150 employees and 500%+ YoY growth, Savvy is hitting its stride. AI is embedded throughout: Savvy Intelligence (launched April 2026) is the only AI built for wealth managers offering complete financial picture visibility. Internally, all employees use Claude and experiment with AI, supported by a dedicated AI enablement team and RevOps org building in-house agents.
This engineering role is designed for builders who want to start a company someday. You'll own problems end-to-end—from discovery through production—partnering with Product, Design, and fellow engineers. You'll work directly with financial advisors and internal operations teams, getting close to customers to uncover friction and identify opportunities. You'll use AI coding agents and tools aggressively to expand your impact, making thoughtful decisions about what to build. The role emphasizes high agency, follow-through, and business acumen: understanding customers, why problems matter, and how solutions create enterprise value. You'll work alongside serial founders, including Ritik Malhotra (Savvy is his third company; his first two were acquired by Box and Brex), and experienced engineering, product, and business leaders.
The company is open to engineers at any career level and actively encourages early-career applicants. Scope and support scale with experience. Savvy values what you've built, how quickly you learn, and the ownership you demonstrate over years on your CV. This is intentionally a short-term role: Savvy expects you to learn intensively over ~18 months and then leave to start your own company (ideally with a pre-seed check and a co-founder found at Savvy).
