The role is based at Pronto's office in Vila da Serra (Nova Lima/Belo Horizonte), with occasional visits to mines in Brazil and other countries. Work schedules may vary based on operational needs. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure sustained operation of production autonomous trucks, maintaining continuous and efficient operations across all Pronto global operations - Execute diagnostics and debugging on Linux systems, identifying and resolving firmware, software, and embedded systems issues - Maintain direct communication with clients and local teams, addressing operational demands and ensuring technical alignment - Support device installation and integration in new operations, contributing to fleet deployment and expansion - Develop debugging and monitoring tools to optimize technical support and failure analysis - Develop software for autonomous systems, collaborating with international teams on advanced robotics projects - Work across diverse robotics topics: localization, controls, path planning, safety systems, sensor fusion, custom/third-party hardware integration, camera pipelines, and machine learning Required Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years professional experience in software development, hardware, and/or robotics - Advanced Linux systems knowledge - Practical embedded systems debugging experience - Remote connection (SSH) and command-line tool proficiency - Python or C/C++ programming for code analysis and correction - Advanced or fluent English for constant global team communication and technical documentation Desirable Qualifications: - Process management experience (supervisor or similar) - Communication protocol and connectivity diagnostics knowledge - Linux networking tools (tcpdump, candump, Wireshark, etc.) - Version control (Git) familiarity - Personal automation, robotics, or electronics projects - Rapid prototyping and hardware troubleshooting experience - Valid category B driver's license
