Preply is a unicorn edtech platform (Series D, $150M) that connects 100,000+ tutors teaching 90+ languages to learners across 180 countries. The Supply Engagement team owns how Preply changes tutor behavior at scale through communications, community, and academy channels.
You will report to the Senior Manager of Supply Engagement as part of a six-person team. Your role balances operational execution of existing programs with full ownership of new initiatives. You'll own the operational delivery of tutor-facing programs end-to-end, including the annual tutor conference, webinar series, community contests, and awards. You'll drive new engagement projects from ideation through delivery, manage the operational side of community activities, and support the Academy's LMS migration by coordinating content shifts, reviewing materials, and building AI workflows to accelerate the process.
You'll also run focus groups, conduct light research, and perform data analysis to improve tutor experience across channels and the broader product. You'll establish reporting cadences to track program performance and ensure the team has visibility into what's working.
Key outcomes you'll own: tutor engagement programs that deliver real value across community, learning, and product launches; tutor sentiment and trust (keeping tutors motivated and returning); tutor voice reaching decision-makers through research and focus groups; and an operational backbone that enables the team to move fast and deliver programs on time at any scale.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Hands-on experience planning and running complex events or programs that reached thousands of people, within a team with real stakeholders and dependencies (not small informal pilots)
- 5+ years of experience as a reference point, but demonstrated ability to plan, run, and land complex programs is what matters most
- Comfortable executing someone else's plan with precision and taking full ownership of projects with no existing plan
- Ability to build working trust with new teams quickly, repeatedly, without formal authority
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills (internal teams and external partners)
- Analytical skills: comfortable extracting insights from research and focus groups, and using data to measure program effectiveness
- Strong written and spoken communication skills with sharp judgment on tone
- Ability to build AI systems and workflows that replace repetitive manual work
NICE TO HAVE:
- Strong user empathy and understanding of how programs affect tutors' ability to earn and feel supported
- Familiarity with learning management systems (Docebo, 360Learning, Thinkific)
- Experience in professional development or marketplace environments
- Experience in content creation and content operations
