Yubico, a publicly traded global leader in identity security and creator of the YubiKey hardware-backed passkey, is seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to join its Professional Services group. This external-facing role focuses on enterprise-wide customer deployment projects, working closely with customers to ensure successful Yubico implementations while collaborating with internal Customer Experience, Solutions, Product, and Engineering teams. Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end deployment projects with enterprise customers, acting as a consultant to optimize rollout strategies using best practices, and supporting all phases of the project lifecycle. You will assist customers in developing deployment plans, provide regular progress updates to stakeholders, and translate customer requirements into actionable feedback for internal teams. The role involves identifying project risks and dependencies, recommending solutions to keep initiatives on track, and conducting operational deployment workshops to assess customer readiness. Additional duties include writing custom deployment guides, best practices documentation, and white papers; managing project artifacts and documentation; and staying current on Yubico products, security protocols (FIDO2, WebAuthn, Smart Card/PIV, OTP), competitive landscape, and industry trends. Required qualifications include 7+ years in Professional Services, technical project management, or similar roles at software/hardware technology companies. You must have experience with client consulting, complex multi-divisional and multi-geographical customer engagements, and large-scale technology deployments or implementations. Strong project management skills, ability to juggle multiple simultaneous tasks, and proven enterprise account management experience are essential. A robust background in identity and access management (IAM), identity verification, cybersecurity, or authentication technologies is required; familiarity with YubiKeys is a plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills across executive, business, and technical audiences are critical, along with strong writing abilities.
