Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to support Arsenal-1, its advanced manufacturing facility. This role owns investigations and proactive employee relations programs for the production workforce—operators, technicians, and frontline managers. The position is split roughly 60% casework and 40% program building. You will run a steady caseload end-to-end while standing up manager training, trend analysis, and culture initiatives that enable the site to scale without scaling risk. Key Responsibilities: Investigations & Casework: Own end-to-end workplace investigations for the hourly workforce, including intake, evidence gathering, interviews, findings, written reports, and recommendations across the full spectrum (policy violations, discrimination, harassment, improper conduct, theft, fraud). Deliver investigation reports that hold up to Legal and senior leadership review with clear narrative, sound analysis, and defensible conclusions. Partner with People Business Partners on case review and recommendations. Flag risk early and work effectively with in-house and outside employment counsel on sensitive or escalating matters. Floor Presence & Relationship Building: Build trusted, in-person relationships with frontline managers and shift leads. Many operators lack laptops or Zoom access, requiring physical presence. Serve as a credible, approachable resource for managers navigating employee issues before they become formal complaints. Proactively identify trends—if a team generates repeat complaints, initiate conversations with their manager about expectations rather than waiting for the next intake. Program Building & Scale: Operationalize and improve the existing investigation workflow, building consistency, documentation standards, and tracking as caseload grows. Design and deliver proactive ER programs including manager training on policies and behavioral expectations, harassment prevention, and investigation awareness. Identify patterns across casework and translate them into actionable recommendations for People Business Partners and site leadership. Required Qualifications: - 4+ years of workplace investigations and employee relations advisory experience; able to run a case solo from intake through written report and recommendation - Direct experience supporting hourly/non-exempt workforces in production, manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution environments - Strong written and verbal communication; investigation reports must be BLUF and structured for Legal and leadership audiences - Employment law fluency; ability to interpret policy, spot risk, and know when to loop in counsel - Self-sufficient operator with experience in environments where the playbook wasn't fully built and the manager wasn't co-located - Program-building experience; demonstrated success building or meaningfully improving ER training, investigation processes, or proactive manager education programs - Comfortable with ambiguity and operational tempo; ability to adapt process to the business - U.S. Person status required (role requires access to export-controlled data) Preferred Qualifications: - Defense, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing background - Non-union hourly workforce experience (union experience acceptable, but non-union dynamics are primary) - Experience partnering closely with People Business Partners in matrixed or shared-services models
