BloomReach is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations across the EMEA region, managing 7 jurisdictions and 10 legal entities. You will oversee a team of accountants and ensure compliance with both US GAAP and local statutory accounting standards across Central Europe.
Key responsibilities include leading and developing your accounting team, owning compliance across multiple jurisdictions, driving statutory and external audits to completion, and standardizing processes and controls across entities to replace fragmented local practices with scalable workflows. You will champion the adoption of AI and automation within the accounting function, identifying opportunities to eliminate manual work and improve accuracy. Cross-functional collaboration with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and HR teams will be essential for smooth month-end closes and reporting. You will serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, local advisors, and statutory authorities.
The ideal candidate has proven experience managing accounting operations across multiple countries and entities, with strong working knowledge of US GAAP and exposure to multiple local statutory GAAPs. You should have a track record of successfully leading audits and managing external auditor relationships, along with demonstrated success standardizing and improving processes in multi-entity or multi-country environments. You must be genuinely enthusiastic about AI, automation, and finance transformation, with strong people leadership skills and excellent cross-cultural communication abilities. This is a full-time role based in one of BloomReach's Central European offices (Bratislava, Prague, or Brno) or remote within Czechia/Slovakia.
