Luma AI is seeking an Editor + Motion Graphics specialist to own the visual storytelling for Dream Lab and Luma across social platforms and longer-form content. You will be responsible for creating platform-native video content that hooks viewers, tells compelling stories, and showcases Luma's AI technology and creative capabilities. In this role, you'll cut and publish social video across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube in vertical and horizontal formats at a target daily cadence. You'll transform raw footage from shoots, workshops, and creator sessions into polished content, turning product moments into tutorials and demos that make complex creative workflows accessible. A core responsibility is building motion graphics from scratch—including text animation, logo animation, title cards, lower thirds, and end cards—that give Dream Lab's content a distinct visual signature. You'll apply precise type treatment, use motion tracking to lock graphics to moving footage, and build seamless transitions that maintain tight pacing. You'll also cut longer-form work including YouTube series episodes, project breakdowns, interviews, and original scripted pieces from assembly through picture lock. Every piece will be versioned for its platform: cutdowns, teasers, trailers, aspect ratios, runtimes, captions, and sound design. You'll monitor performance data after publication and iterate on hooks and formats based on what resonates. You'll maintain organized project files, graphics libraries, and exports to enable rapid turnaround on subsequent edits. The first 90 days will follow a structured arc: Days 1–30 focus on immersion in the footage library, brand guidelines, and content pillars, with social cuts shipping by week one; Days 30–60 emphasize holding cadence and using performance data to refine approach; Days 60–90 involve scaling and systematizing templates and graphics so one shoot yields multiple publishable pieces, targeting two to three published pieces daily across formats. REQUIREMENTS: - Portfolio required (most important submission): Instagram reels, TikTok, YouTube videos, or other work you are proud of; must include specific accounts or channels you ran or cut completely (graphics + edit), not single clips from projects you touched - 3+ years of professional editing focused on social-first content, digital storytelling, entertainment, or creative marketing - Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop - Demonstrated motion graphics work you built yourself, including text and logo animation within edits - Strong point of view on what makes social edits work: hooks, pacing, content pillars, platform-specific viewership behavior - Command of pacing, structure, sound design, music, captions, and color correction; working knowledge of codecs, frame rates, and post workflows - Comfort with longer-form and narrative work; if you have cut scripted material, be prepared to discuss the piece and your specific contributions - Self-starter habits: ability to take footage to final delivery with light oversight; enthusiasm for taking notes and iterating NICE TO HAVE: - Experience with CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Avid alongside Premiere - Motion graphics templates you've built for others to reuse - Your own channel, page, or account that you've cut and grown - Genuine passion in AI, filmmaking, and the intersection of the two
