Fora is a modern travel agency platform that empowers independent travel advisors to build scalable businesses using AI-integrated tools and a global network of supplier partners. The company has 250+ employees, raised $60M in Series D funding (2026), and has been recognized as a LinkedIn Top Startup and one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies.
As DMC & Multiday Tour Supply Lead, you will own the end-to-end process of sourcing, vetting, and onboarding Destination Management Company (DMC) partners into Fora's platform. This is an individual contributor role with strategic ownership—not a traditional sales role. Fora has more demand for DMC partnerships than available slots, so the work focuses on running and optimizing a rigorous selection and portfolio management process.
Key responsibilities include:
**Portfolio Gap Analysis & Sourcing**: Build an evergreen process to identify coverage gaps in Fora's DMC portfolio by destination, experience type, or capacity. Source and maintain a pipeline of prospective DMCs across target markets to close those gaps.
**Vetting & Discovery**: Screen and respond to inbound DMC applicants, working through existing backlogs using and improving established processes. Run discovery calls and vetting assessments to evaluate quality, reliability, and operational capacity. Coordinate interviews with partners across multiple time zones.
**Partner Onboarding**: Create and deliver materials that enable new DMC partners to work effectively with Fora Advisors.
**Ongoing Portfolio Performance**: Evaluate existing DMC partners on quality, Advisor feedback, and booking performance. Flag underperformers and recommend renewal, renegotiation, or removal. Establish a quarterly performance cycle that provides DMCs with transparent feedback on strengths and improvement areas.
**Partnership Coordination**: Communicate program benefits and expectations to prospective and current DMCs. Partner with Fora's central Partners team (who own final commercial terms) to ensure vetting outcomes translate into appropriate deal structures.
The role is based in Fora's New York City office (Tribeca/FiDi) with a 4-day in-office, 1-day remote schedule. Calls with global partners may require flexible or off-hours availability. Some travel to conferences may be needed. Compensation includes a bonus tied to DMC GMV and equity.
**Requirements**:
- 6+ years of experience in inbound sales, supply chain, procurement, or supplier management
- Hands-on experience running an inbound sales flow or owning a sourcing/vetting process (RFP vetting counts)
- Demonstrated experience building and optimizing processes from scratch
- Comfortable working with international partners across multiple time zones
- Comfortable implementing AI tools (e.g., Claude) into workflows and processes
- Proficiency with tools like Omni or Excel for analysis
**Strongly Preferred**:
- Travel industry experience
- Prior experience working with DMCs
