Nutanix is seeking a Director of Treasury to lead capital structure, foreign exchange strategy, and financing risk management initiatives. Reporting to the VP of Treasury, this role is central to designing and executing the company's global FX hedging strategy, managing intercompany operations across 50+ international subsidiaries, overseeing corporate debt and revolving credit facilities, and supporting liquidity planning.
Key responsibilities include designing and executing FX hedging programs (balance sheet and cash flow), establishing automated multi-bank bidding workflows for FX spot transactions, and integrating trading platforms with internal systems for post-trade settlement. You will oversee hedge accounting setup and compliance, support share repurchase program evaluation and execution, and build dynamic capital allocation models to evaluate competing uses of cash including debt paydown, M&A funding, and intercompany repatriation.
The role involves managing corporate debt structures, building and maintaining complex covenant and liquidity models, evaluating funding alternatives and capital structure options, and analyzing alternative payment solutions including captive financing. You will prepare liquidity planning and cash flow forecasting in partnership with FP&A, contribute to credit and financial risk assessments, and lead credit rating agency engagement including framework setup and ongoing support.
Cross-functional collaboration is essential—you will partner with FP&A, Accounting, Legal, Tax, and Investor Relations on forecasting, disclosures, and reporting. You will prepare executive and Board-level materials on capital structure and strategic financing, and strengthen Treasury processes, controls, and documentation to support organizational scaling.
Required qualifications include 7-12+ years in corporate treasury, capital markets, FX, or captive finance; hands-on experience with corporate debt, RCFs, and covenant modeling; expertise with FX execution systems and global multi-entity transaction flows; and direct experience supporting credit rating agency setup. Advanced financial modeling, scenario analysis, and exceptional communication skills are essential. Technology or SaaS industry background is strongly preferred.
The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week onsite in San Jose or Durham if you live within 50 miles of either office. No travel is required. This is a strategic position offering the opportunity to shape treasury operations at a growing enterprise software company.
