Eon is building a new category around Cloud Backup Posture Management (CBPM), transforming how enterprises manage backup data as a strategic business asset rather than passive insurance. The company helps organizations gain visibility, security, resilience, and access across cloud environments as enterprises increasingly build on cloud, data, and AI infrastructure. As Director of Strategic Technology Partnerships, you will build and own a focused portfolio of high-value relationships across the AI and Data ecosystem, with particular emphasis on AI infrastructure providers, neoclouds, and foundation model companies. This is not a traditional BD/alliances role—you'll operate at the intersection of technology and commercial execution, working directly with Eon's executive team and closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing. Key responsibilities include: identifying and developing trusted relationships with executives and technical decision-makers at strategic companies; creating non-traditional partnership models including technology integrations, joint GTM, OEM/licensing, infrastructure partnerships, and co-selling arrangements; identifying relationships that translate into large enterprise customer opportunities; partnering with Product and Engineering to evaluate and prioritize strategic integrations; developing business cases and partnership strategies; representing Eon externally to build presence and reputation in the AI and Data ecosystem; and bringing market intelligence back to influence product, technology, and GTM strategy. You'll be expected to find opportunities without existing playbooks, shape them, and drive execution. The role offers significant ownership, direct access to leadership, and the ability to influence not just partnerships but broader technology and go-to-market strategy. Required: 8+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, enterprise technology sales, or related roles; deep knowledge of AI, Data, and cloud infrastructure landscape; strong network of relationships with senior leaders across AI infrastructure, neoclouds, foundation model companies, and data platforms; track record of creating and closing complex, non-standard strategic partnerships; experience with technology partnerships, integrations, OEM/licensing, joint GTM, or strategic enterprise deals; strong technical credibility and comfort engaging with Product, Engineering, and technical executives; exceptional commercial judgment; strong executive presence, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; entrepreneurial mindset; and builder mentality comfortable with opening doors, developing strategy, and driving execution.
