Salary: USD 147,000 - 246,400 / annual

PagerDuty (NYSE:PD), a leader in Digital Operations Management, is seeking a Director of Sales Planning to join their San Francisco office (hybrid, 2 days/week on-site). This strategic role reports to the Sr. Director of Sales Operations and serves as a key partner to senior sales leadership. You will own the full spectrum of sales planning and operations: establishing quotas, designing go-to-market strategies that balance field sales, inside sales, and product-led growth; leading sales forecasting across business segments; designing compensation plans to optimize performance; planning sales capacity and hiring strategies; and driving cross-functional alignment with Sales Operations, Product, Marketing, Finance, IT, and Customer Support. Key responsibilities include: - Establishing and maintaining sales quotas and go-to-market strategy - Leading sales forecasting efforts across segments - Designing compensation plans to drive revenue growth - Planning and executing sales capacity hiring strategies - Collaborating with cross-functional leaders on strategic projects and process improvements - Driving alignment on business strategies and operational plans - Providing leadership, mentorship, and feedback to a team of sales operations managers and individual contributors The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of progressive experience in Sales/Business Operations, Business Planning, and Strategy, with at least 2 years in a SaaS organization. You demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills, the ability to create a high-performing, metrics-driven environment, and excellent communication skills with executive-level presentation experience. Preferred qualifications include Salesforce, Clari, Tableau, and Anaplan expertise.
