As Director of Enterprise Sales, you will lead a foundational sales role focused on acquiring new enterprise customers across North America for Airwallex's FX & Payment API product. This hybrid position is based in San Francisco or New York and offers significant commission and equity upside tied to hitting revenue targets.
Key responsibilities include: acquiring new enterprise customers through your existing network and industry experience; owning the complete deal cycle from prospecting through close for new logos and customer expansions; identifying new companies, use cases, and prospects with support from strategy and sales enablement teams; collaborating across functions and cultures; providing regular KPI and metric reporting; ensuring excellent customer experience and onboarding; negotiating partnership agreements and commercial contracts with legal, finance, and strategy teams; and building a strong, reliable pipeline while defining best practices for the US sales team.
You will need at least 8 years of experience selling complex technology products to enterprise accounts, with a proven track record of success and accountability for KPIs and revenue targets. Preferred qualifications include 2-3 years in fintech or payments software, top-performer status with new business solution selling experience (ideally in FX or payments), a broad network of key decision makers at target prospects, a technical mindset with experience selling complex API-driven solutions, strong analytical skills, excellent communication and solution-selling abilities tailored to customer needs, and experience identifying and influencing key stakeholders.
