Salary: USD 185,300 - 297,400 / annual
ServiceTitan is seeking a Director of Sales Compensation Strategy & Operations to lead the design, implementation, and continuous optimization of incentive compensation plans across 500+ production roles (Sales Dev, New Logo Sales, Cross Sell/Upsell, Fintech, Post Sales). This is a strategic, cross-functional role reporting to senior leadership with dual accountability for operational excellence and driving exceptional outcomes across the production team.
You will develop and implement compensation plans that motivate employees while aligning with company strategy, working closely with Sales leadership and People Operations. You'll continuously analyze plan effectiveness through quantitative and qualitative research, benchmark against B2B SaaS industry best practices, and present data-driven insights to senior stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing monthly payouts and accruals in partnership with Finance & Accounting, streamlining processes to ensure accuracy, and identifying automation opportunities using tools like Captivate and Xactly as well as AI-powered workflows.
A key aspect of this role is serving as an AI champion—driving process improvements and analytics to increase accuracy and quality of recommendations. You will lead and develop a high-performing team of compensation professionals, fostering cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Finance, HR, and Sales leaders. The role thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments where you can tackle diverse problems and drive tangible results.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 8–10+ years of work experience in high-growth tech companies and/or management consulting
- 3+ years of experience leading high-performing teams
- Functional expertise in Sales/incentive compensation, including experience with at-scale organizations (e.g., SOX compliance processes or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses (customer research, data analysis, competitive benchmarking)
- Comfort analyzing processes, identifying automation opportunities, and executing to completion; proficiency with Sales Compensation tools (Captivate, Xactly) and AI-powered workflows
- Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills; ability to simplify complex problems for stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to distill complex issues into concrete action plans, manage execution, and drive results
- Energized by ambiguity and dynamic, fast-paced working environments
- Track record of leading, growing, and developing high-performing teams
