Salary: USD 185,500 - 344,500 / annual
DTX Pharma, a Novartis Company, is seeking a Director to lead the Real-World Evidence (RWE) Data Platform team. This role sits at the intersection of data strategy and pharmaceutical evidence generation, responsible for developing, implementing, and operationalizing scalable real-world data platforms that support high-quality, timely evidence generation across the drug portfolio.
You will partner closely with HEOR (Health Economics and Outcomes Research) leads, medical strategy teams, data partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align data platform capabilities with strategic evidence needs. Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting development and operationalization of scalable RWD platforms enabling efficient evidence generation
• Translating strategic evidence needs into practical data platform requirements in collaboration with RWE and medical strategy leads
• Supporting integration of diverse real-world data sources: claims, electronic health records, registries, specialty pharmacy data, and linked datasets
• Contributing to development of linked longitudinal data capabilities for robust real-world analyses and endpoint development
• Evaluating, onboarding, and managing external data vendors and platform partners
• Establishing and maintaining data quality frameworks, validation protocols, documentation standards, and governance processes
• Collaborating with analytics, epidemiology, biostatistics, medical, and access teams to ensure data fitness-for-purpose
• Enabling timely data asset access and supporting efficient study activation for RWE projects
• Identifying opportunities to improve platform usability, scalability, and efficiency
• Communicating data platform capabilities, limitations, and strategic opportunities to leadership and stakeholders
• Staying current with evolving RWD sources, data linkage approaches, analytical platforms, and industry trends
This is a fully remote position based in the US with an expectation of approximately 20% domestic and/or international travel. The role requires strong technical knowledge of real-world data ecosystems, demonstrated ability to manage complex projects across multiple priorities, and excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
