Okta is seeking a Director of Product Management for its Identity Threat Detection and Response Products. This is an individual contributor role (not managing a team) that requires deep technical expertise, cybersecurity knowledge, and strong cross-functional influence.
You will define product strategy and roadmap for Okta's identity security offerings, including Identity Threat Protection with Okta AI, ThreatInsight, and Network Zones. Key responsibilities include:
**Strategy & Vision**: Develop comprehensive product strategy and roadmap to maintain Okta's leadership in identity security. Evangelize vision to engineering, product, and customers. Use data to inform strategic decisions.
**Product Delivery**: Ensure timely, on-budget delivery of the security roadmap. Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and design teams. Work with scrum teams and TPMs to deliver features addressing key security use cases. Rigorously prioritize investments across the security domain.
**Customer Engagement**: Capture detailed security requirements and user stories. Engage deeply with customers to understand identity-centric threats, access control, and network security challenges. Incorporate beta feedback into iterations. Collaborate with technical marketing and sales on competitive positioning. Partner with product marketing on go-to-market strategy and pricing/packaging decisions.
**Ownership**: Maintain customer-success focus, unblocking sales and supporting customers on security issues. Lead quarterly business reviews. Identify new product opportunities to expand the security portfolio.
Required: Bachelor's degree in a technical field and proven track record in product management (description truncated). This role is based in one of six locations with hybrid flexibility.
