Axonius is seeking a Director of Product Design to lead a full design department and transform the user experience across its complex, multi-product cybersecurity platform. The company is pivoting from a tech-centric to user-centric approach, and this role is central to that transformation.
You will own end-to-end UX across all Axonius products, serving as the connective tissue between product lines to create a coherent, intuitive experience. You'll define what great UX looks like in the AI era—not just adapting to AI features, but fundamentally rethinking how users interact with intelligence-first products. This includes leading the adoption of AI-powered workflows within the design team and in partnership with Engineering to compress cycles, ship faster, and create outsized impact.
Beyond design craft, you'll drive operational change and lead cross-functional processes that connect design to the business. You'll work directly with customers, field teams, product managers, and developers, advocating for design-led thinking at the executive level while collaborating effectively across functions.

The platform helps customers preemptively tackle threat exposures, misconfigurations, and overspending by integrating data from every system in an organization's IT infrastructure.
**Requirements:**
- 4+ years leading a design team; experience building and scaling a full design department
- Proven ability to own the UX of a complex, multi-product platform end-to-end
- Significant experience designing and shipping B2B SaaS products at scale
- Demonstrated success transforming a technical, complex product into an intuitive, high-end user experience
- Ability to advocate for design-led thinking at the executive level while collaborating with Engineering, Sales, and field teams
- Track record of mentoring designers and managing career growth
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience designing for AI-powered products or defining UX patterns for intelligence-first experiences
- Hands-on experience driving AI adoption in design and development workflows
- Familiarity with cybersecurity or high-complexity data products
- Deep expertise building and maintaining Design Systems that scale across complex platforms
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives spanning design, engineering, product, and go-to-market teams
- Comfort balancing craft and speed in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
