GenLogs is a transportation-technology company building next-generation truck intelligence through a nationwide network of sensors and proprietary data. The company delivers real-time, high-fidelity insights into freight movement for commercial supply-chain customers and public-sector agencies, operating at the intersection of edge sensing, computer vision, AI-driven analytics, and large-scale field deployment. The Engineering team builds and sustains end-to-end systems powering the country's most advanced commercial-vehicle sensing and intelligence network. Engineers develop everything from roadside hardware and embedded software to computer vision pipelines, distributed cloud infrastructure, and real-time data services, responsible for reliability, accuracy, and security of the Trident network and its data products. As Director of Software Engineering, you will lead the engineering organization responsible for building, deploying, and scaling core applications that tens of thousands of users rely on daily for critical supply chain operations. This is a cross-disciplinary people leadership role spanning cloud/software platforms with solid understanding of machine learning and analytical product development. You will lead and develop a team of engineers while setting technical direction, establishing strong engineering practices, and ensuring the organization delivers reliable products at scale. Working closely with Product, Deployment, Data Science, and company leadership, you'll translate product strategy and real-world operational requirements into an effective engineering roadmap. You're responsible for creating the structure, processes, and technical foundation needed to move quickly without sacrificing reliability, quality, or long-term scalability. This role is ideal for an engineering leader who enjoys operating at the intersection of people, technology, and physical-world systems—solving complex problems where hardware and software must work together reliably in the field.
