Salary: USD 190,000 - 210,000 / annual
Extend is a B2B SaaS platform revolutionizing the post-purchase experience for retailers through AI-driven solutions for customer service, returns management, fulfillment, and fraud detection. The company works with 1,000+ merchant partners and is backed by prominent technology investors.
You will lead the operating engine behind Extend's go-to-market organization, reporting to Business Operations leadership and serving as a strategic partner to the executive team and GTM leaders. This is a director-level role managing a team spanning business systems, Salesforce administration, operations, and GTM engineering.
Key responsibilities include:
**Strategic Partnership & GTM Planning**: Partner with executives and GTM leadership on coverage models, pricing, packaging, and organizational design. Own the annual planning cycle end-to-end, including account segmentation, territory design, capacity planning, headcount modeling, and quota setting across all revenue teams. Build and maintain bottoms-up sales and revenue models in partnership with Finance and Analytics.
**Deal Operations & Forecasting**: Establish deal desk operations with pricing guardrails and approval workflows for non-standard terms. Lead the GTM operating cadence including monthly and quarterly business reviews. Establish disciplined pipeline inspection and accurate revenue forecasting across Sales and Growth leadership. Own full-funnel GTM performance metrics including pipeline generation, attainment, retention, and expansion forecasting.
**Incentive Compensation**: Design variable compensation plans for AEs, BDRs, AMs, and SEs that drive strategic behaviors. Manage the full compensation lifecycle from plan documentation through accurate, on-time commission payouts.
**GTM Technology & AI Operations**: Own the GTM technology budget, renewals, and vendor relationships across Salesforce and the broader sales stack. Maintain data governance that reps and executives depend on daily. Partner with engineering teams to evaluate and deploy AI-driven capabilities. Identify manual operational friction and use automation to give reps more time with merchants.
**Requirements:**
- 8+ years in Revenue/Sales Operations or GTM Strategy, with 3+ years managing a team
- Demonstrated experience leading full annual planning cycles (segmentation, territories, capacity, quotas, compensation)
- Deep, hands-on Salesforce and GTM stack knowledge with ability to discuss data models and system architecture
- Strong financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets, capable of building and defending revenue models to executive leadership
- Proven track record designing variable compensation plans and owning end-to-end commission accuracy
- Familiarity with LLM tools (such as Claude) in daily workflows with clear perspective on how AI enhances RevOps
- Clear, direct communicator who can challenge senior sales leaders with data while maintaining trust-based relationships
