AlphaSense is seeking a Director of Product to lead Search and Curated Experiences, two critical product pillars that power the company's AI-driven market intelligence platform. Search serves as the front door to hundreds of millions of business documents, handling relevance, ranking, query understanding, document-type coverage, filtering, and performance across all product surfaces. Curated Experiences define how AlphaSense's content and intelligence appear in pre-built research launchpads—company profiles, industry profiles, monitoring dashboards, and beyond. This is a leadership role requiring both deep technical expertise and people management. You will own the end-to-end search strategy, establish metrics and benchmarks to measure quality improvements, and lead a small team including a domain expert for Curated Experiences. Your responsibilities span defining roadmaps that balance relevance quality, coverage, and performance against business priorities; building evaluation frameworks and experimentation infrastructure; collaborating across Knowledge Graph, AI, Engineering, and Design teams; and executing the full product lifecycle from strategy through launch and iteration. You will be the organization's go-to leader for driving impact across both domains, setting direction autonomously, making critical tradeoffs, and being accountable for outcomes. The role requires managing and mentoring product managers, resolving ambiguity, and raising the bar as the search organization scales. AlphaSense is a mature, well-funded B2B SaaS company founded in 2011, headquartered in New York with 2,000+ employees globally. The platform is trusted by over 6,000 enterprise customers, including a majority of the S&P 500. The company recently acquired Tegus (2024) to expand content and product capabilities.
