Salary: USD 180,000 - 220,000 / annual

Via is transforming public transportation through technology, operating at scale across multiple cities with tens of thousands of daily riders, particularly serving low-income communities. As Director of Product for Rider and Driver Mobile Experience, you will lead a complex, scaled product portfolio spanning mobile apps for riders and drivers on a unified platform. You will define and execute the strategic vision for next-generation mobile experiences, combining multiple transportation modes and thoughtfully integrating with existing public transit networks. Your responsibilities include: • Developing and owning the strategic roadmap for the mobile platform, ensuring seamless journeys across rider and driver experiences • Leveraging data analytics, AI, and user research to identify and ship high-impact product features • Managing full-stack product development from front-end UI/UX through back-end architecture, API integrations, and third-party partnerships • Collaborating closely on user-first design and accessibility to ensure intuitive interactions across platforms • Optimizing resource allocation by assessing value-to-cost tradeoffs and efficiently scoping product requirements • Serving as primary liaison across Engineering, QA, Operations, and Business teams to drive cohesive execution You bring 7-10 years of product management experience in high-growth startups or global companies. You have owned broad product portfolios, led product domains, and built category-leading products. You combine market research and customer feedback with technical acumen to envision compelling products. You have demonstrated success with AI and emerging technologies, shipping solutions that create meaningful user and business value. You excel at end-to-end product lifecycle management, from planning through launch. You are analytical, business-savvy, proactive, and thrive in dynamic environments. Experience in public transit, mapping, SaaS, or accessibility is valued. Compensation: $180,000–$220,000 base salary plus variable pay and equity.
