Salary: USD 180,000 - 220,000 / annual
Via is transforming transportation globally through technology, serving tens of thousands of riders daily, particularly from low-income communities. As Director of Product for Rider and Driver Mobile Experience, you will lead a complex, scaled product portfolio impacting millions of users across a unified mobile platform.
You will define and drive the strategic vision for Via's next-generation mobile platform, ensuring seamless and intuitive journeys for both riders and drivers. Your responsibilities include leveraging data analytics, AI, and user research to develop high-impact mobile features that delight end users while maintaining commitments to public sector customers. You'll manage the full product lifecycle from front-end UI design through back-end architecture, API integrations, and third-party partnerships.
Key responsibilities include: establishing product vision and roadmap for the mobile platform; spearheading AI-powered features and innovative solutions; collaborating closely on user-first design and accessibility; assessing value-to-cost tradeoffs and optimizing resource allocation; and serving as primary liaison across Engineering, QA, Operations, and Business teams to drive cohesive execution.
You bring 7-10 years of product management experience in successful startups or global-scale companies. You have owned broad product portfolios, led product domains, and built category-leading products. You excel at synthesizing market research, customer feedback, technical requirements, and constraints into compelling product vision. You demonstrate strong understanding of how AI and emerging technologies transform user experiences, with a track record of shipping AI-powered solutions. You have proven success managing end-to-end product lifecycles from planning through launch, with excellent analytical abilities and business acumen. You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments as a proactive, independent achiever. Experience or passion in public transit, mapping, SaaS, and accessibility is valued.
