ClickHouse, a Forbes Cloud 100 company and leader in real-time analytics and data warehousing, is seeking a Director of Product Management to own the security product strategy end-to-end. You will set the multi-year investment strategy for security offerings, define the vision and roadmap, and make build-vs-buy decisions that shape how the platform protects customer data.
In this role, you will go deep on database security, networking, and identity and access management (IAM)—developing enough expertise to debate technical details with engineering rather than simply approving proposals. You'll partner closely with engineering, design, sales, and marketing to ship genuinely secure products, not just well-marketed ones.
Key responsibilities include owning the product vision and multi-year roadmap for security; translating complex security requirements into specifications and user stories; prioritizing the backlog and managing trade-offs between business value, customer risk, and engineering cost; driving go-to-market for security launches; and monitoring real-world performance to inform future development. You will also serve as the security subject-matter expert for other product teams, providing guidance and coaching on security-adjacent decisions, and represent the company's security posture externally to top customers, prospects, and analysts.
You bring 10+ years of B2B SaaS product management experience with significant focus on security products or features, including organizational-level security strategy. You have hands-on experience with database security principles, strong understanding of networking and its security implications, and in-depth knowledge of IAM. Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are preferred. You excel at program management across concurrent workstreams, representing product externally to technical and non-technical audiences, and mentoring other PMs. You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments where you bring order to shifting priorities.
