As Director of Product Management, you will own product strategy and leadership across Volta's platform product organization. You will set direction across five key product areas: control plane, orchestration, user interfaces, inference, and security. You will lead and develop the group product managers who own each area, reporting directly to senior leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning overall product strategy and roadmap across all platform product areas
- Leading and developing group product managers across control plane, orchestration, UI, inference, and security
- Aligning product priorities with company strategy and executive leadership
- Representing product strategy to customers, investors, and executive stakeholders
- Driving prioritization and trade-off decisions across competing product areas
- Building product management practices, processes, and career development across the team
- Partnering with engineering leadership to align product and platform roadmaps
You should bring significant product management leadership experience, including managing other product leaders. You need a track record owning product strategy for complex, technical platforms, strong executive presence and communication skills, and deep experience in infrastructure, cloud, or developer-facing products. Excellent judgment balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and business priorities is essential.
