Salary: USD 180,000 - 250,000 / annual

As Director of Product for ClickHouse Cloud, you will own the multi-year product strategy and roadmap for the cloud platform, focusing on foundational cloud-native database capabilities including multi-region replication, distributed query execution, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, storage architecture, and release management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining multi-year product strategy and roadmap for ClickHouse Cloud, covering cloud-native database capabilities such as multi-region replication, distributed query execution, fault tolerance, storage tiering, schema evolution, and disaster recovery
- Partnering closely with Engineering leadership to prioritize investments across the core database engine, storage layer, and query execution framework
- Coaching and mentoring Product Managers across adjacent platform areas to drive prioritization and maintain cohesive platform strategy
- Collaborating with Design, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Support, and Customer Success on product launches and customer experiences
- Balancing long-term platform investments with near-term customer commitments and business priorities
- Serving as trusted advisor to executives on product strategy, execution, risks, and trade-offs
- Representing ClickHouse with strategic customers, partners, and at industry events
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of Product Management experience, including significant experience with cloud infrastructure, enterprise SaaS, developer platforms, or database products
- Demonstrated ability to influence product direction across multiple engineering teams and drive large cross-functional initiatives
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and modern data infrastructure
- Comfortable working at both strategic and technical levels with senior engineering leaders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of SQL, query execution, indexing, partitioning, and database performance optimization
- Experience with databases such as ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or other distributed/analytical systems
- Familiarity with modern data infrastructure including data lakes, ETL pipelines, CDC, orchestration platforms
- Ability to discuss technical concepts like schema management, query planning, storage engines, replication, consistency models, and distributed systems design
- Experience shipping complex infrastructure capabilities such as replication, disaster recovery, storage systems, or backup/restore workflows
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
- Track record of coaching/mentoring Product Managers
