Salary: USD 250,000 - 400,000 / annual

As Director of People Operations, you will build and own the infrastructure that enables Goodfire to scale as a world-class AI research organization. Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for designing and executing the company's people strategy across the entire employee lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and executing Goodfire's people strategy across hiring, talent acquisition, compensation, employee experience, and organizational development
- Developing and maintaining compensation, leveling, and equity philosophy to attract and retain exceptional talent
- Managing the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding with a focus on high-quality experience
- Building scalable people systems, processes, and infrastructure that support rapid growth
- Leading benefits administration and strategy, including vendor management and employee support
- Serving as the primary people partner for employees and managers, handling sensitive situations with discretion and sound judgment
- Shaping and reinforcing a high-performance, mission-driven culture as the company scales
- Overseeing visa and immigration processes and compliance
- Managing people-related compliance, risk management, and policy evolution
- Communicating people initiatives to the broader team in alignment with company culture
