Daymark Health is a value-based oncology company transforming cancer care through a comprehensive platform combining dedicated care navigation, symptom-focused support, behavioral health, and social resources with evidence-based interventions and hybrid in-person/virtual care.
You'll join Daymark's Medical Economics function as a key early hire, working closely with the VP of Medical Economics to scale the cost-of-care analytics function. This role blends hands-on individual contributor work with strategic influence, ideal for someone building deep analytical expertise while shaping senior-level decisions.
Key responsibilities include owning total cost-of-care analytics across all payer contracts (PMPM, utilization, service grouper categories) using Tuva infrastructure. You'll develop shared savings calculations, baseline and trend construction, and member/service mix adjustment approaches that are transparent, reproducible, and defensible to plan partners. You'll translate clinical model effectiveness into measurable outcomes, drive internal improvements in coordination with clinical operations, and attribute value generation for plan partners.
You'll lead reporting with payer partners as Daymark's analytical counterpart to plan medical economics and actuarial teams. You'll build and own the internal and external reporting stack—from payer-facing savings dashboards to internal trend and utilization reports—collaborating with Product and Engineering on data models and agentic workflow development.
The role includes leading Daymark's medical economics AI strategy, identifying high-value use cases for LLM and agentic workflows in claims analytics and reporting automation. You'll build AI tooling infrastructure and develop agentic EHR monitoring workflows to support proactive care pathway identification.
You'll support claims-based opportunity assessments for new payer partnerships, including cost/utilization benchmarking and savings lever identification, and serve as Daymark's analytical voice in payer negotiations. You'll collaborate with the actuary and finance team on modeling, trending, and actuarial review as the medical economics and reporting function scales.
