1Mind is building Autonomous Customer Experience software—a new category of enterprise AI that deploys AI-powered "Superhumans" to handle customer engagement, demos, onboarding, and support across the entire buyer journey. The company is Series A and growing rapidly.
As Director of Marketing, you will own the full marketing function and serve as the engine driving 1Mind's go-to-market strategy. You will report to the CMO and partner closely with RevOps and leadership to translate strategy into an integrated marketing operation spanning content, demand generation, social, communications, and customer marketing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with the CMO and RevOps to set marketing goals, define the content and demand-gen strategy, and own performance tracking against pipeline waterfall metrics.
- Managing the marketing budget day-to-day, tracking spend against plan, identifying variances, and reallocating resources toward high-performing channels.
- Building and executing a sustained employee-generated and customer-generated content program to turn employees, customers, and power users into organic brand advocates.
- Owning full-funnel demand generation—thought-leadership campaigns, account-based advertising, search visibility, review generation, and channel-level ROI optimization.
- Executing content and collateral (website, sales materials, case studies, customer stories) aligned with brand and positioning.
- Directing external creative, design, and web resources to deliver on-brand, on-strategy output at pace.
- Running customer marketing programs including adoption, expansion, champion, and advocacy initiatives.
- Executing PR and communications to support executive visibility, speaking opportunities, and thought-leadership placement.
This is a high-ownership individual-contributor role with no direct reports today. You will build and execute personally, working closely with the CMO and leadership team, with clear room to grow the function as the company scales.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of B2B marketing experience with meaningful ownership of demand generation, content, or growth marketing at a high-growth company.
- Track record owning a marketing budget and managing vendor and agency relationships.
- Experience building and scaling an organic advocacy program (employee-generated or customer-generated content) as a real growth channel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable executing hands-on work rather than only directing others.
- Data-driven approach to campaign performance with experience defining and tracking pipeline, cost-per-opportunity, conversion, and channel-level ROI metrics.
PREFERRED:
- Experience marketing to enterprise or go-to-market/revenue operations buyers.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted marketing tooling (messaging systems, campaign automation, account intelligence, content generation).
- Experience in early-stage or high-growth startups building marketing infrastructure from the ground up.
- Generalist background spanning both brand/content and demand generation.
