CoreWeave is a publicly traded AI infrastructure company (Nasdaq: CRWV, founded 2017) that provides cloud compute and technology platforms for AI innovation. The Legal and Government Affairs (LGA) team is seeking a Director of Legal Operations to lead the operational transformation of the department. Reporting to the VP & Deputy General Counsel for Commercial & Business Operations, you will manage the Legal Operations team and serve as the operational backbone of LGA. Your responsibilities span technology, processes, and vendor management to enable the legal function to scale with the company's hyper-growth and public-company complexity. Key areas of ownership include: **Legal Technology & Systems:** Own selection, configuration, and adoption of core legal platforms (contract lifecycle management, matter management, AI-enabled legal tools, e-discovery, e-billing). Translate business needs into system requirements, workflows, and dashboards. Oversee administration, integrations, permissions, and user adoption in partnership with IT and external vendors. Lead responsible AI adoption across legal workflows, including governance and impact measurement. **Vendor & Professional Services Management:** Manage outside counsel and vendor spend processes, including onboarding, invoice review, billing compliance, rate negotiations, and performance evaluations. Ensure adherence to Outside Counsel Guidelines. **Budget & Financial Operations:** Coordinate LGA budgeting, forecasting, and accruals. Drive spend discipline, billing accuracy, and cost predictability while providing transparent visibility into legal costs and ROI. **Metrics, Reporting & OKRs:** Partner with LGA leadership to define operational metrics and OKRs reflecting team health and business impact (cycle time, spend, outcomes, adoption rates). Build repeatable reporting by synthesizing data from core systems (Asana, Ironclad, Salesforce, Brightflag) into executive-ready dashboards. The role requires someone who is pragmatic, solutions-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment with increasing regulatory and operational complexity.
