As Director of Growth - Navy, you will lead Code Metal's go-to-market strategy and revenue expansion within the U.S. Navy. This is a strategic leadership role that blends business development, capture management, relationship-building, and problem-solving. You will partner directly with company executives to develop and execute the Navy GTM strategy, quarterback engagements from initial contact through contract execution, and navigate Code Metal's offerings through Navy acquisition processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define, lead, and execute the GTM strategy for the Navy
- Build and maintain relationships across Navy leadership, including Pentagon, COCOM/MAJCOMs, and acquisition staffs
- Identify opportunities and shape them into contracts
- Contribute to congressional engagements to ensure decision-makers understand Code Metal's capabilities and national security impact
- Monitor policy, budget, and acquisition shifts to identify emerging opportunities
- Collaborate with technical and product teams to align Code Metal's offerings with Navy requirements
You will work closely with Deployment Strategists, product leads, fellow Growth leaders, and engineers. This role is ideal for someone who understands Navy challenges, can anticipate strategic shifts, and is excited about solving critical national security problems through advanced AI technology.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (MBA preferred)
- Deep Navy fluency and understanding of Navy culture, decision-making, and acquisition processes
- Proven experience in business development, capture, or GTM leadership within government or defense technology sectors
- Deep understanding of DOD acquisition, procurement, and organizational structures and processes
- Demonstrated track record of expanding business or driving major new initiatives within Navy or similar government organizations
- Proven success managing multi-million-dollar defense programs or contracts
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
- U.S. Citizen required
- Active security clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
