Code Metal is an AI-driven software engineering company that uses formal methods to produce provably correct code. The company serves defense and intelligence customers including the U.S. Air Force, L3Harris, RTX, and Toshiba, helping them modernize legacy systems, optimize performance, and accelerate prototypes to production. As Director of Growth for the Intelligence Community, you will lead Code Metal's go-to-market strategy and business development efforts within the U.S. Intelligence Community and related defense ecosystem. This is a strategic leadership role that blends capture management, relationship building, and problem-solving across government sales cycles. Key Responsibilities: - Define, lead, and execute a comprehensive GTM strategy targeting IC customers - Build and maintain relationships with Intelligence Community customers and ecosystem partners - Identify opportunities and shape them into contracts through the government acquisition process - Ensure IC decision makers and influencers have accurate information about Code Metal's capabilities and relevance to cryptographic challenges - Monitor policy, budget, and acquisition landscape shifts to identify new business opportunities - Collaborate with Solutions, Product, and Engineering teams to align Code Metal's offerings with IC mission needs - Quarterback USG engagements from initial introduction through technical evaluation, relationship building, and account expansion You understand Fort Meade, the cryptographic ecosystem, and the software/hardware modernization challenges facing the intelligence mission. You're excited about identifying problems Code Metal can solve and navigating the government sales ecosystem. You're drawn to working at a dual-use AI company solving urgent national security problems. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience - Relevant Intelligence Community experience and deep understanding of IC team structures, pain points, and decision-making processes - Proven track record of expanding business or driving adoption of major new initiatives within government/IC bureaucracy - Business development, capture, or GTM leadership experience in government or defense technology sectors with demonstrated success - U.S. Citizenship required - Active security clearance (TS or higher) required - Exceptional relationship building, communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills Preferred Qualifications: - Technical fluency in cryptographic problem sets - Experience navigating government contract vehicles and acquisition processes
