As Director of Finance, you will own all finance, accounting, and statutory compliance for CommerceIQ's India entity. You will serve as the primary point of contact for banking relationships, tax authorities, and statutory auditors, and act as an authorized signatory across banking, tax, and regulatory portals.
Key responsibilities include: managing day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, and monthly/quarterly/annual close in NetSuite; owning Indian statutory compliance (GST, TDS/withholding tax, corporate income tax, PF/PT, STPI); managing EEFC/e-BRC regularization for inward remittances; maintaining Board, AGM, and Company Secretary records; serving as authorized initiator on corporate banking platforms (HSBC) for payments, payroll, fixed deposits, and intercompany funding; administering corporate card programs and coordinating cross-border wire transfers; owning monthly payroll approval and F&F settlements; and maintaining finance systems (Tipalti, Navan, FloQast) while reviewing NetSuite platform releases for compliance impact.
You will manage and develop a small India finance team and partner with the global controllership team in the US to keep India operations aligned with company-wide policy and reporting standards.
