Vi is an enterprise AI platform serving healthcare, biopharma, and wellness organizations. The company deploys agentic AI and predictive models into production environments to drive clinical and operational outcomes.
As Director of Engineering, you will lead Vi's engineering organization in Israel, overseeing the Platform layer and Israeli-led product squads. This is a hybrid IC-and-manager role: you remain a hands-on technical leader and the strongest engineer on the team while building and coaching the engineering organization.
You will own full accountability for people, architecture, and shipped outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
- Setting technical direction and the engineering bar by example, building solutions from scratch and prototyping the hardest technical challenges yourself
- Leading the Core Platform team, which owns shared data systems, company brain, tabular and causal foundation models, generic agentic workflows, and client environment integrations
- Overseeing the Data Web initiative, focused on continuous enrichment and productization of Vi's proprietary, licensed, and collected data assets
- Guiding development of Pulse, Vi's external-facing LLM-driven production analytics, data-querying, and visualization system
- Managing Israeli-led application squads (Activate and Engage HCP) that run the full patient and healthcare provider acquisition and engagement loop, from problem definition through modeling, integrations, shipping, and measurement
This role requires deep technical expertise in AI/ML systems, data infrastructure, and production deployment, combined with strong leadership and team-building capabilities. You will work at the intersection of platform engineering, data systems, and applied AI.
