Twilio is seeking a Director of Demand Generation to lead the centralized growth engine for Twilio.org. This is a core management track position (M5 level) with direct responsibility for a high-performing team of four, including three Senior Managers overseeing Strategic Accounts/ABM, New Business/Inbound, and Digital Sales/Self-Service segments, plus one Digital Demand Manager. You will architect and scale demand generation operations, moving the organization away from a historically flat structure to establish clear accountability and eliminate operational friction. Key responsibilities include: • Lead and develop a team of four, including three senior managers, building functional expertise and driving team performance. • Establish operational "swim lanes" to centralize campaign workflows, clarify ownership, and accelerate GTM program delivery. • Own full-funnel pipeline targets and revenue performance metrics in close partnership with Sales leadership. • Direct global digital media spend across paid and organic channels, continuously optimizing conversion paths and testing new ad formats. • Drive AI-first automation initiatives, scaling programmatic plays, lifecycle triggers, and automated conversion logic to move self-service users from sign-up to active spenders. • Collaborate cross-functionally with central .com teams, Product Marketing, Events, and Brand to align corporate strategy with tactical growth goals. Required qualifications include proven people management experience supervising senior individual contributors or managers; comprehensive B2B demand generation background (ABM, inbound, digital lifecycle); demonstrated multi-channel digital media budget ownership and funnel optimization; successful cross-functional influence with Sales, Product Marketing, and other teams; and hands-on MarTech proficiency (SFDC, Marketo, or similar platforms). Twilio is a remote-first company with a strong culture of connection and global inclusion. The role offers the opportunity to build scalable marketing infrastructure while accelerating growth across Twilio's social impact ecosystem.
