Assort Health is building AI agents that create continuous conversations for patients across their healthcare journey, replacing fragmented interactions with intelligent, context-aware systems. As Director of Agent Product Management for Health Systems, you will lead Assort's most strategic and complex health-system implementations end-to-end, managing multi-service-line, multi-site rollouts across large provider organizations and integrated delivery networks (IDNs). You'll personally own flagship implementations while building and leading a growing implementation team of APMs, setting hiring standards, developing talent, and scaling the function.
Key responsibilities include: leading complex health-system implementations through IT, security, and procurement processes; building and coaching the implementation team; establishing standardized scoping methodologies, best practices, and tooling; owning team-wide launch performance and proactively removing execution risks; serving as executive relationship owner for flagship accounts (engaging CIOs, CMIOs, VP Patient Access, Revenue Cycle leaders); partnering with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Sales leadership to translate implementation insights into roadmap priorities; and owning portfolio analytics and KPI reporting (abandonment, hold time, conversion, staffing capacity).
You'll need 8–12 years in consulting, implementation, or delivery with direct experience leading implementations at large health systems or IDNs. Required: hands-on SaaS/enterprise software deployment experience at scale through IT, security, and procurement; deep Epic integration experience across large deployments; multi-workstream program management; people-management and team-building experience; player-coach orientation (personally owning hard implementations while leading); executive presence with VP/C-suite stakeholders; strong analytical and portfolio-level reporting skills; ability to build processes and playbooks from scratch; enterprise IT governance navigation; structured change management frameworks (Prosci/ADKAR); and AI governance experience (model risk, clinical safety, responsible AI).
Nice-to-haves include patient access/scheduling domain expertise, familiarity with other EHR systems (Oracle Health/Cerner, Athena, NextGen, ECW) and contact-center platforms (Genesys, NICE, Five9, Cisco, RingCentral, Twilio), internal tooling experience, health tech or AI company background, PMP certification, and willingness to travel.
