Our Place is seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Acquisition to lead the next phase of direct-to-consumer (DTC) growth. You will run point on customer acquisition strategy across multiple markets, working with strong cross-functional partners to sharpen Our Place's focus and build a scalable growth engine.
In this role, you'll lead a team of high-performing marketers to optimize and scale a multi-million-dollar digital and traditional media portfolio. You'll apply data-driven, iterative approaches to achieve revenue and efficiency goals (CPO, ROAS, CAC) while maintaining focus on new customer acquisition.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define end-to-end strategy for digital channels (Facebook, Google) and rapidly growing offline media (Linear TV, Streaming/OTT, Podcasts)
- Partner with the Creative team to evolve ad creative strategy and execute a learning agenda
- Architect and execute rigorous testing to prove channel-level incrementality and inform tactical approaches
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of full-time and contractor marketers
- Communicate insights across Marketing, Creative, Finance, CX, and Product
- Design processes, tech stacks, and reporting loops for scalable marketing ecosystems
- Approach problems analytically to identify solutions and inform business decisions
Our Place designs thoughtful, beautiful home-cooking products that make meal preparation and sharing easier and more joyful. The company is building a brand with meaningful presence in customers' homes over time. Teams work hybrid, coming into the West LA headquarters on Tuesdays and Thursdays for collaboration and connection.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of performance marketing experience across digital and offline channels
- Strong working knowledge of Paid Social, Programmatic, Search Marketing (SEM), Podcast, and Broadcast/Streaming TV
- Track record of successfully deploying $50M+ acquisition budgets to drive revenue and customer acquisition at scale, preferably in multiple global markets
- Extensive hands-on experience managing individual digital performance channels end-to-end, with deep expertise in Paid Social, Programmatic, and/or SEM
- Analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities, including technical skills (Excel and/or SQL) and consultative scoping/structuring
- High tolerance for ambiguity and bias for action
- Entrepreneurial and global ownership mindset with proven ability to influence at all organizational levels
- Demonstrated people leadership skills with prior experience hiring, coaching, and developing channel manager teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Passion for understanding consumer behavior and creating outstanding customer experiences aligned with mission-driven brands
